Practices
Ancient movement traditions to restore balance, vitality, and inner harmony.
Tai Chi
Tai Chi is an ancient Chinese practice that harmonises body, breath, and mind through slow, intentional movement — a living meditation in motion that cultivates inner stillness, vitality, and a profound sense of physical awareness.
With over 26 years of teaching experience, Shifu Simone brings deep expertise, and patience to every class. His guidance makes Tai Chi accessible to practitioners of all levels — whether you are stepping onto the mat for the very first time or deepening an established practice.
Each session begins with a gentle warm-up to prepare the body, followed by Qi Gong — a complementary practice of breath, movement, and energy cultivation. You will then be guided through the Tai Chi form, a flowing sequence of postures that develops coordination, balance, and internal awareness. The pace and content of each session are thoughtfully adjusted to your level, ensuring continuous, meaningful progress at every stage of your journey.
Rooted in Taoist philosophy and the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi works with the body's internal energy — known as Qi — to promote health, balance, and longevity. Regular practice is associated with improved posture, reduced stress, enhanced concentration, greater joint flexibility, and a calmer, more centred state of mind.
Whether you seek physical vitality, emotional calm, or a meditative practice to anchor your day, Tai Chi offers a path that grows richer with every session. We invite you to join Shifu Simone and discover how this ancient art can support your wellbeing from the inside out.
The 5 Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation
A powerful daily practice designed to support vitality, energy flow, and inner balance.
The 5 Tibetan Rites of Rejuvenation is an ancient movement and energy practice offered at Wings & Me as part of our Restorative Practices. This sequence of five dynamic exercises is designed to activate, balance, and harmonise the body's energy system while supporting physical vitality, mental clarity, and overall well-being.
Rooted in traditional Tibetan teachings, the Rites work through gentle yet powerful movement patterns that stimulate energy flow throughout the body, supporting flexibility, circulation, and internal balance.
At Wings & Me, this practice is offered both as individual sessions and group experiences, allowing participants to engage with the Rites at a pace and depth that suits their personal journey.
Regular practice may support increased energy levels, improved body awareness, a greater sense of grounding, and enhanced connection between body and mind.
This is not a performance-based exercise system, but a mindful, energetic practice focused on consistency, awareness, and internal alignment.
